Build Your Hopes…

In today’s climate, the concept of HOPE has become so politicized that it has begun to lose its luster and its true meaning. True Hope speaks to our faith, and therein lies the rub. If we have placed our faith in people, or man made concepts & institutions…disappointment will be our lasting outcome. True faith needs to be placed in something…or someone who exists outside of our worldly influences. That faith needs to be placed in God. He is the only one who doesn’t disappoint, and He keeps all of his promises. As an all too familiar hymn states, “Time is filled with swift transition. Naught unmoved on earth can stand. Build your hopes on things eternal, and hold to God’s unchanging hand! Hold to His hand…God’s unchanging hand…hold to His hand, God’s unchanging hand!
