2021: A Reflection

There's a song that states,

"If I never see another day, If I never see a smiling face

If I never breathe another breath, or take another step,

I wanna say, 'Thank you!'

Thank You for all that you've done thus far,

Thank You being The God that you are,

Thank for food on my table, I know that you're able,

I wanna say, 'Thank You!'

As we settle in to 2022, we need to take pause and remember all that God has done for us: Some of us contracted COVID (Delta or Omicron) and we survived. Some of us lost our jobs, and we had too much month left at the end of our money, but God provided for us, "in the meantime", and now...we're back to work again! Some of us had rocky relationships that have since stabilized, others wanted a relationship...prayed about it, struggled through things not working out, and now things are looking up! I believe that God has GREAT THINGS in store for us in 2022, if we're willing to be the faithful servants that He wants us (and calls us) to be. Let's take a minute and just say, "Thank You!" for all that God has brought us through: 2020 (a pandemic, economic downturn, the death of family & friends), 2021 (more political drama, insurrection, a shortage of supplies, vaccinations & testing, more dying). If you're reading this, God has been good to you! Take time to say, "Thank You!"
